Don’t spit on my shoes and tell me it’s raining

While the Bush Administration is doing the happy dance and Tony Snow is doing the rounds telling us not to focus on the bad things, the American Embassy is telling a different tale.  Thanks to Randi Rhodes for posting this memo.  I couldn’t find it on the internet but here it is for your reading pleasure!  Are these documents real?  I don’t know.  I can only go on what I have been told.  Editor and Publisher have written a story on this memo so they believe that it is the real deal.  Rhandi Rhodes thought it was real.  She mentioned it on her show today. 

Women being forced to stop driving cars and to wear veils.  Electricity out for over a month is certain parts of Baghdad.  One employee of the embassy stated that he waited over 12 hours in a line for gas.  Tons of other data to support that things are not getting better.  They are getting worse. 

Bush can smile and joke around all he wants but in 115 degree heat electricity and air conditioning are the only things that calm the soul.  In Baghdad those seem to be in short supply.

Not Kidnapped - Captured

If you are at war and your troops get taken what is that called?  Okay, let’s look at this another way, if you are in peace time, and one of your friends gets taken then you call it a kidnapping.  Our 2 missing troops have been captured.  They are POW’s.  Why because we are still at war in Iraq!!  I’m just sayin’

Where’s the Outrage podcast 6-10-06
