Rumsfeld’s tap dance
Yesterday after some thoughtful questions by Hiliary Clinton, Rumsfeld said, “I have never painted a rosy picture. I have been very measured in my words, and you’d have a dickens of a time trying to find instances where I have been excessively optimistic. I understand this is tough stuff.”
And the lying continues. (Why can’t someone in this administration stand up and say I truly made a big mistake? Doesn’t that take more guts than just continuing to lie, lie, LIE?)

I don’t understand. Literally hundreds of reports have been published over the last two to three years stating Iraq did not have and does not have weapons of mass destruction. The power of the presidency to inform or to deceive is amazing.
