What is the purpose of government? I have discussed this topic with liberals and conservatives. It is my opinion, that the government is to help those people who need a little help. A little help. The government should also keep us safe. That’s about it.
The Center for American Progress unveiled new ideas to move America forward. Their 3 main points
- Opportunity for all
- Promoting a Just and Secure World
- Building Strong Communities
The principle of providing for citizens in times of need should mean just that, in times of need.
Oh yes the gov’t is keeping us safe. welcome to the united corporations of america. I think building strong communities is one of the most important things that could be done, because as I have said before, It all begins locally. I think that a lot of power has been taken away from local and state governments, so much so that now cities are having to fight the state to get what they need because the states rely so heavily on federal incentives and finances, and that the hole is just getting deeper.
