Where’s the Outrage? 8/26/06

Review of the news.  I should mention that Senator Allen is still in the macaca.  It looks like he is waist deep in it as his poll numbers fall and fall fast.  Great interview with Jerome Armstrong of www.MyDD.com and co-author of Crashing the Gates.  We discuss 5 key Senate elections.  Armstrong also discusses a key netroots movement called Crashing the States.  Armstrong and several other influencial bloggers will be traveling to key states and interacting the key bloggers and candidated.

Keith Olbermann is right again

On MSNBC’s Countdown, Keith Olbermann was simply brilliant.  I really can’t add anything to his blistering commentary.  He rightly singles out Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld for his outrageous comments to the American Legion earlier this week.

Agassi survives the second round

Andre Agassi upset No. 8 Marcos Baghdatis 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 5-7, 7-5.  This is his second five set match and this is only the second round.  Andre Agassi has grown up before our eyes.  15 years ago he was a spoiled brat with a ton of talent.  He has subsequently matured into a great competitor.
