Former Defense Secretary William Cohen gives a thumbs down to 9-11 movie

Cohen states that he has only read reports on what is in the movie.  He also debunks a scene and sets the record straight.  This episode was in Richard Clarke’s book.  As far as I know, in spite of the administration’s attempts to label Clarke as left wing and not in the loop, his book, Against All Enemies has stood the test of time.  The facts in his book have been verified.  Interesting to see if ABC pulls this movie.

  1. I doubt that ABC will actually pull this movie or “docu-drama” for sevral reasons that all seem to point back to profit, such as that if they did pull it, not only would they not be able to live it down, but all of the sponsors that have already paid for spots during the broadcast will not get their projected return either. Also “what about the ratings!” After hyping this movie up and getting SO much attention about it, how could they POSSIBLY not play it. (that’s sarcasm in case you missed it)

  2. Remember the movie about President Reagan was pulled from network TV and sent to cable. Of course, this movie aired tonight. yuck.
