Path to Distortion - ABC’s mini-series

Let’s do something fun. Let’s make a movie and say that it is based on facts. Then we’ll have handouts for school children. Let’s see…what else, oh, I know, since the facts are messy and confusing let’s not worry about them. The bottom-line is we spread the message!

What’s the message? I think ABC’s main goal is profit.
Wouldn’t you make more profit if you told the story correctly? Stay away from the political angle. Don’t point fingers at Clinton or Bush. Simply tell the story. Tell the story how brave men and women try to prevent the attacks. Tell the story of how brave men and women tried to save people from the World Trade Center. Tell the story of the brave men and women who caused an airplane to crash outside a small town in Pennsylvania. Wouldn’t that make more profit?
“Tell the story of the brave men and women who caused an airplane to crash outside a small town in Pennsylvania. Wouldn’t that make more profit?”
That story was told earlier this summer, “United 93.” I think your question is the answer.
People watching makes profit and controversy brings viewers. I don’t get my history from movies especially TV movies; but now I may watch at least tonight’s episode to see what all the fuss is about. I can’t remember the last TV movie that I was remotely interested in seeing.
