Bush on 60 minutes

Bush is not stubborn. That’s what he said. He listens. He is flexible. What? In the stem cell debate, he listened to experts from all sides then decided on exactly what he was thinking about before his deliberations. He did the exact same thing with Iraq. It was clear before the Iraq Study Group was created that Bush never wanted to pull out of Iraq. He “listened” to tons of folks and came to the same decision.
The interview ends with the same talking points that he has used for the last 3 years. Basically, we’re fighting ‘em over there so that we don’t have to fight them over here. (I think I’m about to vomit.)
