The Army fights … back?

I have gotten a lot of traffic when I posted the Walter Reed Story. Folks were looking for somewhere to voice their concerns. Well, I appreciate the posts but it may be time for us to show more than concern. It is time for Outrage!

The Military seems to be shutting up the soldiers and moving them out of the watchful eyes of reporters.

Unfortunenetly it is not just at Walter Reed. I know when the soldiers come home, there is a stigma about asking for help with Ptsd. They are told to deal with it if they want to reenlist or are up for promotion. Which keeps an unstable soldier in the system. They don't want to hurt their chances of advancement. It is the military and you are suppose to be stronger than the civilians. But everyone has a breaking point. The divorces rise steadily without help. The soldiers that have artificial limbs need clothing specifically for them. There is a need for help in all areas. I know the state and national chapter of the Blue Star Mothers (military moms)are making specific clothing to give the soldiers more diginty while they are in the hospitals and rehab facilities. People can help put the pressure on to get ALL veterans the care they need.
