The US maybe losing the intel war.  Iraqis are trying to be more independent which means more influenced by Iran.

Dem Chair Dean comments on verdict

Howard Dean makes some excellent points about the Libby case.  He ties the obsession with the Libby case and smearing Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame to the lack of attention to what are soldiers are returning here at home.

Christians under attack but not here in the US

Christians are being driven out of Iraq by the thousands.

Christians around the world are currently observing Lent, a time of reflection and prayer before Easter and a period that symbolically commemorates 40 days that Jesus spent fasting in the wilderness. Lent this year comes at a moment of crisis for some of the oldest Christian communities in the world, especially for Christians in Iraq.

Internal conflicts there have led to the death of tens of thousands since 2003, contributing to the largest refugee crisis in the Middle East since 1948. Nearly 4 million Iraqis are now refugees or internally displaced, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, with Christians disproportionately among those forced to flee their homes. Congrats to Bloggers and David Corn

During the dark times, back when Republicans ruled the world and most democrats ran for cover, a few bloggers thought this CIA Leak case was a big deal. David Corn, Washington Reporter for The Nation, also, thought that this CIA Leak case was a big deal. John from Crooks and Liars , Jane and Christy from Firedoglake and Glenn Greenwald of Unclaimed Territory (now of Salon.com) were the ones that kept striking the match until they had a fire.
