FBI abuses of Patriot Act
No way. The US government, our government, would never abuse the Patriot Act. Our President told us that this would only be used with the confines of the law.

A Justice Department investigation has found pervasive errors in the FBI’s use of its power to secretly demand telephone, e-mail and financial records in national security cases, officials with access to the report said yesterday.
The inspector general’s audit found 22 possible breaches of internal FBI and Justice Department regulations — some of which were potential violations of law — in a sampling of 293 “national security letters.” The letters were used by the FBI to obtain the personal records of U.S. residents or visitors between 2003 and 2005. and now people are going to start acting surprised that these kind of things happen! Remember who decides to give “those in power” the power that htey have to make the decisions that they do. This comes back to the fact that everyone needs to be more involved in the political process however they can be. Write your congressmen, senators, local governm,ent. call them. do whatever is necesary to put power back into the hands of the people. If you have kept up with things in Raleigh as of late, you can see “power to the people” sometimes called “justice” in action with the fact that Jim Black is FINALLY getting his due.
