This guy had 5 or 6 hits in the span of 2 or 3 years then poof (REALLY 83 - 87). Nothing. He had a motorcycle wreck in 1990 which may have changed him. Anyway, this was a cool song.

It is very hard to get videos of funk bands from the 70’s and 80’s. Hell, just videos from any band from the 70’s or 80’s is difficult. Isley Brothers, ConFunkshun, Brick, Parliament, Gap Band and others are rare. Rare to get good quality clips with descent sound. Oh, you can find clips of that someone with a videocam took from 100 rows back from the stage but who wants to see that.
In spite of these problems, P-Funk this coming weekend.
