Support Nancy Pelosi

Our speaker has been jumped on by the Right. Vice President Cheney, Limbaugh and others have condemned her trip to Syria. Senator John Kerry has a very supportive post on the Daily Kos. Surprisingly, Chris Wallace at Fox confronted Newt Gingrich about his flip-flop (you see as speaker he did the same thing).
As long as Syria openly supports terrorism against Israel we must remain vigilant in our stance against them.

Vigilant is something that is a given in the Middle East. Stance is an interesting choice of words : if taken as a body-language analogy, one might want to consider their possible influence in Iraq as a reason not to get to carried away with public damnation. ( After all, the U.S. is a supporter of terrorism in addition to illegal war ) It’s likely a good plan not to try to hard for moral high ground when standing on quicksand.
