Obama - shows surprising power
Barack has raised a ton of money for the 2nd quarter. He revealed that he was serious candidate when he came in just behind Hillary for the first quarter. His numbers upon further inspection were really strong. Very strong. He was pulling in new donors. He was pulling first time donors. He was tapping donors who gave small amounts who would be able to get larger amounts.
Well, he has revealed that he is a very serious candidate. He might not be killing the field in the debates but he isn’t losing the debates either. He is positioning himself to be able to run with Hillary the whole way.
Obama has rasied $32.5 million. Hillary’s camp hasn’t revealed the final numbers but it appears that she has rasied $27 million. John Edwards who I thought was going to make a major move raised only $9 million. Governor Bill Richardson has raisened somewhere in the $7 million range.
