Barry Bonds ties Hammerin’ Hank

Look Barry Bonds is a jerk.  He is a very hard public figure to like.  In spite of this he just hit 755.  He and Hank Aaron are the only 2 to ever do that.  Stand and clap.  What about his steroid usage?  What about it?  All players use performance enhancing stuff.  Whether it is a nutritionist to improve your diet in order to play better or it is fancy shoes in order to run faster and grip the ground better.  They all use something.  Mark McGuire did it.  Roger Clements is currently doing it and getting away with it.

Bug Selig is also a jerk.  If you are the baseball head guru and you go to the games then stand and clap.  If you ain’t going to clap then go home.

    I worked for a City Council member in Cincinnati when Marge Schott said all her insults and all that. My boss told me to call Bud Selig and see if Selig would talk to him. I called the Major League Baseball office. I told the lady who picked up the phone who I was calling for. In a few seconds I was on the line with Selig. We chatted for a few seconds and I passed the phone on to my boss.

    I have a good Marge Schott story but that warrants a full post.

    My Stepfather was hanks biggest fan he met him in the locker room and was present for 755 He hand carved and lathed a picture frame for him and gave it to him He passed a few years back and I would like to get in touch with Hank to see if he still has it Hank was and always will be the best

    Hank Aaron was and still is a great man. He is the picture of strong and steady. He will always be remembered as a great man who performed under the most intense pressure.

    Barry Bonds is now the Home Run king. That doesn’t mean that Hank Aaron accomplishment is any less great. The fact that it has taken someone over 30 year to break Hank’s record speaks for itself.
