Too little too late

Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez is now an outspoken critic of the War in Iraq and the Bush administration’s handling of the War. Interesting. It would seem that General Sanchez is just a little late. Why didn’t he speak up before? Why didn’t he speak out when he was “running” things over in Iraq.
There are few very thoughtful and articulate Generals who have been speaking out against the war. Many of them have a long history of thoughtful approaches to problems. Unfortunately, Ricardo’s command was plagued with problems. They are nicely chronicled in Thomas Ricks’ book, Fiasco.
