March for Justice

When you look around the country there are several race based crimes that are really ugly.  The rally was to bring attention to the number of hate crimes in America.

———-

From CNN.com:

Thousands of demonstrators encircled Justice Department headquarters in the nation’s capital Friday to demand the government crack down harder on hate crimes.

“We have so many people, we surrounded the Justice Department and two blocks more,” the Rev. Al Sharpton told CNN as the orderly crowd marched around the building where newly sworn-in Attorney General Michael Mukasey was working.

“This is a real outcry, a real outrage from people around this country,” Sharpton said.  (more…)

  1. Im sick of turning on my television and hearing these black people whine. all they do is run around shooting at each other, smoking crack, stealing stuff and robbing people. they dont work, instead, they’d rather sit on thier butts, spit out babies and collect welfare. they need to get over it and quit blaming everyone else for thier own failures. oh yea, by the way, we also need to quit letting blacks get away with all these crimes. michael bell, O.J. simpson and that black kid that murderd that 14 yr old white girl because he wanted the families van. he should have gotten the death penalty, instead they gave him 40 yrs. thats an outrage. my point to all this is, black people dont want equality, they want white people in slavery.

    real american, indianapolis

  2. Why don’t These people make up their minds. This week they are in favor of sotronger hate crime legislation, while last week they were marching against the prosecution of the Jena 6 for their hate crimes? I guess there is no such thing as a hate crime as long as the victim is white ’cause “EVERYBODY LOVES WHITEY!!!!!!” What happened to equal treatment regardlwss of race?

If you don’t see the common thread maybe it is because you aren’t looking.

Extremely racist comment. There is no thoughtful person, Black or White that wants anyone in slavery. maybe you should turn off your TV. Clearly, you only see racist things in our society.

  5. Well, the race card gets played again because the Als,the Jesses come riding in and incite the tension to further the agenda. Why is it that anyone who is black and commits a crime against whites is not called a racist and made to be the victim, instead of taking responsibility for the act committed? Just curious. Oh, I know…It’s because Jena 6’s are disadvantaged and have poor home lives, so blame bring out the race card and make excuses, instead of following the law or said six taking responsibility. Wow! I coulda had a v-8.

What are you defending? No really? What?

I don’t think that anybody is saying that the Jena 6 shouldn’t be held responsible for their actions. Please take a second and read what I have written.

If after you have read what I have written and you still think that I have unfairly criticized those in Jena, I’m ready to read your thoughtful criticism.

  7. How can Michael Vick be Federally charged for fighting dogs (nasty dirty animals who lick their butts) but those white people in West Virginia get charged by the state for kidnapping a black girl, torturing her, making her eat animal feces, etc. You don’t see the problem here??????? Dogs (people in China eat dogs) get more justice in america than black people. A dog is an animal and nothing more. An animal. White people probably sleep with their dogs so that’s why they are so angry with Michael Vick. He did not commit a federal crime but was charged because white people love dogs more than people. Who in their right man would let a dog sleep in their bed (a white person) or feed a dirty, nasty dog off of the kitchen table. The Justice Department should be called the Injustice Department because it’s not fair to blacks.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think that you have a point.
