Wow.
Yep. I suspect folks will be burning their CD’s also!!
thanks for your comment.
Beautiful melodies… horrible lyrics.. As though Pink knows what it is like to be homeless with a baby on the way. Singing about things that she will probably never have to go through herself, living in a mansion, in good ol’ California. Please! Hollywood is PATHETIC. Don’t forget about the people who live outside of Hollywood. There are a lot of us who do support the President! Her agenda to personally attack the President shows she has no class. Go back to signing about your broken relationships…

It is clear that Pink didn’t grow up in the lap of luxury. So, she did come from modest means.
Let’s see the number of you that support the President would be 28 to 32% of the country. I guess my question to you would be why? Why do you support the president? What has the president done to earn and sustain your support?
I’m looking forward to your answer. BTW, if your answer is thoughtful, I’ll post it as a main post and not just a comment.
You’re on!
Yea.. I think Pink has lived on the streets in her rough teen years.
Thanks Naomi!!
Keep reading Where’s the Outrage!!
Sorry but Pink’s song implies that Bush is resposible for all the poverty and other problems in the US. Like poverty and schools issues are new problems. You can argue that Bush’s programs aren’t working……but he tried and that is a lot more than Pink has done in her life. Look Government cannot be the total answer for these problems all of us need to participate, but because of the polarization of politics these days it is impossible for someone you don’t agree with to have a good idea. As long as this mentality exists where people just criticize because the idea came from a different party or someone they dont agree with, we will never solve any of these problems regardless of who’s in charge. You cannot expect a President to be the end all of all of these problems but ask yourself one question about the following example, (and be honest with yourself) Do you honestly believe that No Child left behind has not helped even one child? I guarantee it has helped thoudands more than Pink’s song ever will. To imply Bush doesnt care about poverty or give hypotheticals like he would hate having a gay daughter are just wreckless and idiotic, any excercise in hypothecials is ridiculous. Whether I make sense to you or not I want to ask one more question from you. What are you doing to make it better? Cause it is going to take more than a president or government policy to solve. Everyone start thinking for yourself instead of what the pundits tell you to think, only then can we all make a better world.

Thanks for your comments.
I think one can say that No Child Left Behind was a brilliantly devised plan. A plan that looks like it would help while truly dismantling the very system that it was supposed to help.
Pink is 28 years old. What was W. doing at age 28? Let me give you a hint, it had nothing to do with poverty.
I don’t think that the song implies that W is responsible for all poverty. One thing is clear, he has done nothing to help those in poverty. On the other hand he has done a GREAT deal to help the rich get richer.
It is clear that the government isn’t the answer to many of the world’s or our country’s problems. On the other hand, if the government provides an environment where broad prosperity is possible then you have something.
