JFK and Pearl Harbor no where to be found

So, I scanned the internet looking at CBS, NBC, Fox and ABC but found no trace of John F. Kennedy or Pearl Harbor coverage. Kennedy was killed in Dallas on November 22, 1963. The Japanesse bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. There was no rememberance. There was no nothing? Why?

It’s the kind of thing you have to take up yourself. I often try visit a local military burial ground or memorial while on vacation. In Hawaii a few years back I went to the first-rate Pacific war dead cemetary located in an extinct volcano. Earlier this year in San Diego I went to a military cemetary.
The new WW II and Korean War Memorials on the Mall in Washington are first-rate. I saw them two years ago.
I’ve been to where President Kennedy was shot in Dallas twice and you just have to decide if you are going to take it serious or get into the silly mood of all the hot dog vendors and people selling t-shirts.
The Oklahoma City federal building memorial is well-done.
Anyway, we remember these events because we make the call to do so and because we find it important to do so.
