I once went to a Houston Texans football game and it was the loudest damn thing I ever heard. Noise. Noise. Noise. We used to walk up on game day (NFL) in this case, and buy tickets same day. Years later, attended an NBA game, and found the experience much like you did. Corp. I worked for gave out free tickets for us wage slaves. Found the experience loud, raucous, but fun. Exciting to see superstars in person. No, I won't pay for pro sports tickets today, but it was neat-o to go. We have all the sports packages one could possibly have via satellite anyway. Sports outings are a spectacle, an outing, a special event occurrence now, and I like it that way. They can keep their inflated ticket prices! Pro sports has changed quite a bit, eh?
