Newest Florida polls

I know, let’s blow a presidential race. With every poll in the world showing that Democratic values are what the American public wants, let’s start a fight between candidates. Let’s start finger points and name calling. The American electorate will love that. NOT!!

Dennis Kucinich is out

I know that Representative Dennis Kucinich was a long shot by every definition of the word.  Still I thought that he brought balance to the debates.  While Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were arguing shades of grey, Dennis Kucinich was telling it like it was.  He was talking form the heart.  He didn’t seem to ever want to sugar coat anything for general consumption.  He is a true progressive.

Tomorrow Dennis Kucinich will announce that he is dropping out of the race for President.

Supreme Court hears Photo ID law

Block the vote. That’s what this is about. It isn’t about making the voting process better. There are plenty of fake ID’s out there. Instead, this is about excluding a block of voters who are poor, who have issues with transportation, who are elderly.

This is part of an ongoing process to make a permanent Republican majority.

PBS’s NOW did a great piece on this. I’ll try and post it later on this evening.
