Washington and Nebraska go to Obama

Everyone is now projecting Barack Obama to win Washington State and Nebraska. Mike Huckabee who refuses to go away has taken Kansas for the Republicans. Louisiana has a last poll closing so the first results are just now coming in.

Washington State and Nebraska were very big victories. Large margins. I’m wondering how the media and everyone else is going to spin this. For margins of victory like this, you have dominate in all categories except for balding, blond, bearded men over 45 on their second wife with 4 children and an annual combined income of $54,623.05.

Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) swept to solid victories over Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y) in Nebraska and Washington state today, as the two combatants for the Democratic presidential nomination fought over delegates in the Midwest, the Northwest and the Gulf Coast.

With 85 percent of the Nebraska caucus vote counted, Obama led Clinton, 68 percent to 32 percent. In Washington state, meanwhile, Obama took about a two-to-one lead over Clinton, with more than half of the caucus vote counted. (more…)
