19th DUI
This isn’t funny. Drunk driving is never funny. This is my world. As a trauma surgeon, I see the effects, the bad effects of drinking and driving everyday. Half of the injuries that I see are related to drugs or alcohol. I’m positive that this guy has hurt someone. He has hurt them either physically or emotionally and/or financially. Not only does this guy need to be locked up, they need to throw away the key.
TL at Obama Rally
I got a call last night at about 9:30 pm (EST). It was our very own Texas Liberal. He was at the Obama rally. Obama hadn’t come on yet and TL was stoked. I hope that TL will give us a sense of what being at an Obama Rally was like.
Last night, Barack Obama seemed to bring more substance and policy. He seemed to be responding to critics that he didn’t have any substance. Unfortunately, the speech wasn’t as inspirational. Still he truly laid out a plan for changing America into the country that we love and preparing America for the future.
Atlantis Returns
Sweet landing. I love watching the Space Shuttle. It appears that Atlantis had a great trip with no major flaws.

Obama has taken Washington State, Nebraska and Louisiana. His victories have been overshadowed by Mike Huckabee refusing to go away. Huckabee has taken Kansas and Louisiana. Washington State is still too close to call with McCain, Huckabee and Ron Paul splitting the votes into thirds.
