19th DUI

This isn’t funny. Drunk driving is never funny. This is my world. As a trauma surgeon, I see the effects, the bad effects of drinking and driving everyday. Half of the injuries that I see are related to drugs or alcohol. I’m positive that this guy has hurt someone. He has hurt them either physically or emotionally and/or financially. Not only does this guy need to be locked up, they need to throw away the key.
When you have one thing happen, its an accident…
When that thing happens twice, its a pattern…..
When that thing happens three times, its a program…
To think, they offered me 10 years in prison for smoke damage to a car, now I have a 10 year probation period, and a 2nd Degree Arson record, when an 18 year old received 10 years probation for under-age drinking+driving while intoxicated+killing a man.
I have a criminal record for the one thing I did wrong, and I learned my lesson about playing with fire…
I will not be doing it again…
but this sucker does it 19 times….and people say the system..
I say prove it.
