It is 3 am - dueling commercials
Here’s the very sad thing, Hillary Clinton has the “best” democratic campaign folks. The best. Everyone says that they are the best but…. Barack Obama got the left overs. It sure doesn’t appear that way. It will about a year before we can truly look at this election and tell what worked and what didn’t. Right now, Hillary Clinton and her team look old and slow. Barack Obama looks quick and nimble.
“It’s 3 a.m., and your children are safe and asleep. But there’s a phone in the White House, and it’s ringing. Something is happening in the world. Your vote will decide who answers that call, whether it’s someone who already knows the world’s leaders, knows the military — someone tested and ready to lead in a dangerous world. It’s 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. Who do you want answering the phone?”
So, Hillary Clinton puts out her scare ad. It doesn’t say a vote for Obama is a vote for the terrorists but it does imply that Barack will need a bunch of advisers to make a decision at 3 am. So, less than 48 hours later, Obama responses with the same opening then the narrator deviates -
It’s 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. But there’s a phone ringing in the White House. Something’s happening in the world. When that call gets answered, shouldn’t the president be the one — the only one — who had judgment and courage to oppose the Iraq war from the start? Who understood the REAL threat to America was al-Qaeda, in Afghanistan, not Iraq? Who led the effort to secure loose nuclear weapons around the globe? In a dangerous world, it’s judgment that matters.
Oops. Hillary Clinton opened that can. Barack Obama is using that can to remind everyone of Hillary Clinton’s disastrous Iraq War vote. This is a place that Hillary would prefer not to go with democrats. HUGE mistake. Especially because a new book came out this week about the final cost of the war. $3 Trillion

I think the Democratic establishment consultants in the Clinton campaign are not that skilled. The Democratic Party needs new blood.
I think this argument is mute as we have had “George Bush” ready to answer this phone call for the last 8yrs…

I would like to point out, since it was brought up in the Obama version:
The was and is in Pakistan.
The FBI confirmed this, and they also confirmed that there is no hard-evidence that bin-laden was involved in the attacks…
what we need is our constitution based Republic back, not more democracy…
Democracy, leads to Socialism, and Socialism leads to Communism…..
It has been done in every country that is now Communist…just look at the history and what the leaders have promised and study the communist manifesto (and please dont say communism is dead when you have China and Russia holding on to the hard line)
K -
Democracy - Socialism - Communism? I’m not sure that true? Any examples?
My man, these communist countries talk about democracy all of the time, and then when they have an election, we call it rigged because the person who won is a hard liner….
When you here people in power preaching democracy in what is known as a Republic, (you know, a country where the laws stay the same, no matter how much the ACLU wants to change them), you have socialism creaping into the scene…
Just take a look at the 10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto:

Ask yourself this:
Why would the U.N., give China more accolades and praise than other country for its model of government?
Why should the playing field be level?
Why should we have shared responsibility?
Have you heard these terms and sayings?
Why should I pay for my neighbors health care, when I can barely afford my own?
I bet you have.
