Letterman’s Top Ten Spitzer reasons

David Letterman has been doing this for over 30 years. He is still funny. He has the Top Ten Spitzer Excuses. I can tell you that one of them has to do with Bill Clinton. This is funny.

On a serious note, I’m not sure that Eliot Spitzer needed or should have stepped down. Sex between adults. I’m sorry. I don’t care. The problem is that we have an elected official who had placed himself on the moral high ground. Okay, if you are going to do that, then you have to walk the walk.

  1. I don’t think the moral peening is as much of a problem as the fact that he went after prostitute rings while he was attorney general.

If he is facing federal charges, I don’t see how he can fight that and remain Governor during an election year.

I think more criminal and embarassing details may be coming.

As I said before, I think, he put himself out as some moral authority. Not just a humble politician who will try to do his best. He was hammering away at the moral imperative. If that is you platform then great but your nose has to be clearer than the next guy.

I agree more crap is coming. Now, that they have identified the woman know as Kristen. I expect that we will see her on the TV talking smack. I suspect that she will be signing a contract with Playboy for a layout.

The whole thing is tiring. I feel terribly sorry for his wife and family.
