Hannity is Today’s “Worst Person”

I think on any given day Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh or Bill O’Reilly could be theĀ  worst person in the world. They say offensive, racist, sexist garbage every day. AndĀ  Hannity even continues to push the notion that Barack Obama is somehow a racist.

Sean Hannity: Today’s “Worst Person in the World.”

(Oops, I forgot to post the video that goes along with this post.)

  1. I couldn’t agree more…. here’s an unanswered email I sent to Rush after his tyraid on Obama’s pastor last week….

    Hi Rush,

I was listening to your show today where you appeared committed, to the point of being obsessed, with unfair and pointless criticism of Senator Barack Obama. While I’ve always found your show somewhat amusing, I’ve always commented to family, friends and co-workers that if you’re interested in at least keeping abreast of important issues, Rush’s show is worth listening to.

After this afternoon’s debacle, I will no longer listen to your show or recommend to anyone with any semblance of intelligence to do so. Thank God there are alternatives on talk radio!

Here are my answers to your questions about Barack Obama’s “past Pastor”…..

Barack is NOT responsible for his Pastor’s religious, political or racial views/opinions. Like many people, Barack goes to church to worship God. Your comments were so off base (as usual) in that you very weakly attempted to imply that just because he attends that church, he somehow supported or endorsed his Pastor’s views. If we followed your line of thoughtless and shallow thinking, we would assume that other church members are “guilty as charged” as well….. How about other churches Rush……. I’m sure even you can name 10 or more Religious Leaders that have fallen short (cheating on their wives, stealing church funds, etc)…. are their members responsible for their behavior too? I’m sure if we investigated all the people that are somehow affliliated with Rush Limbaugh, we’d find more than a few with opinions that don’t match yours. Should we hold you, supposedly a celebrity show host, accountable for their viewpoints and comments.
Like most church attendees, Barack pays tithe and offerings to “GOD” at the church they attend. Again, your one sided view paints a picture of him contributing money to an individual. Get a grip Rush….. even you should know better!
Rush, are you really this desperate to sway Democratic votes Senator McCain? Regardless of your usual, less than amusing rhetoric, I doubt seriously anyone with an ounce of common sense that is listening to your show would fall for such a weak & cheap trick. This is evidenced by both callers on your show that disagreed with you, as well as many other listener’s like me that lost the pinch of respect we HAD for you as a prominent talk show personality.

I’m still smiling at the first gentleman callers challenge to you…. “Rush, please tell me one thing that Obama’s past Pastor said that wasn’t true.” A simple question, yet you were flustered and retreated to typical Rush tactics of over talking your guest and churning words like bad tasting ice cream. Your adding of “X” at the end of the Black female caller’s first name was an embarrassment to you, your show and all true Americans regardless of their political party. Unless you can admit that the target audience of your show are immature illiterates, I’m not sure I understand your ridiculous behavior or the content of your show today.

Focus Rush, find real issues to discuss and leverage your experience and passion to promote the “right” viewpoint. To some degree, the Republican Party relies on you and other “righteous” talk show host to educate and promote a conservative viewpoint. Stop being an embarrasment to your party affiliation.

    X Listener!

  2. Mike -

Who’s Rush’s pastor? Does he have one? Your points are valid and I suspect that you will not get answer from Rush. He never seems to answer valid criticism only the nut jobs and Rush lovers.

    Thanks for your comments.
