It isn't just casualties that people count. How about the mental problems of the returning troops. Just because you aren't patrolling the streets doesn't mean that the soldiers aren't affected by the long intense hours, extreme heat and only 2 weeks off a year. The human cost is far greater than just the soldiers that die over there.. No one asked him how we are going to pay for all the costs of our troops being there.
