Senator Clinton Fighting for Something

I’m not sure what Senator Hillary Clinton truly believes. Does she truly believe that she can win the nomination? Or, as we have learned in the last several days, does she believe that she may be fighting on in order to be in a better position to negotiate her withdrawal. In spite of tales of vast amounts of money flowing in the Clinton camp, she is drowning in debt. She maybe able to put herself into a position that she could trade: getting out of the race for Senator Barack Obama’s camp assuming her multi-million dollar debt.

Interesting thought. I wonder if I can do that at work. I’ll leave, if you assume my debt. I might try it and see if it works. :-)

By the way, Joe Conason of Salon.com really takes Clinton to task for her comments and recent behavior on the campaign trail.

    She needs to go back to the Senate and he needs to work on his Clinton Foundation.

  • Hillary is fighting weaken Barack so she can have another go in 2012. Her people worked to weaken Kerry for the same reason in 2004, to pave her way in 2008.

    Barack spoiled it for her, so she's poisoning the well of his candidacy.

    It is just an continuation of Bill's tactics in his aborted 88 run, perfected for the 92 run.

    In Arkansas, they (Bill and Hillary) destroyed their political opponents. Never forget, they are a team, and always have been.

    If Barack had hitched his wagon to hers, he would have had the chance of 16 years in the White House (2 terms as Veep, and 2 as POTUS).

    Instead, he is going up against the most powerful Democratic Machine since FDR.

    If they can't win...they will scorch the earth on their way down to deny it from those who denied them.
