Please thank Ms Lacewell for such a good article. Women had to sacrifice body parts and had unneccesary surgeries just to make it more convienent for dotors. When it came to breast lumps they used to take the entire breast and sometimes both. They didn't give a second thought to the person they were cutting. Many times you would hear about reports of c-sections being performed only because the doctor wanted to plan his schedule.Regardless of the person being cut open We barely hear about ovarian cancer and cervical cancer awareness.Where are the advertisements telling women this can kill you without you knowing about it. But you can't turn on any tv or open any paper without being bombarded with erectile disfunction remedies. i have never heard of a man being killed for this problem.

Thank you Ms Lacewell. What color ribbon would you like? If you turn it around maybe people will ask why it is upside down.

Before you "surrender," visit http://hersfoundation.org/ to watch the HERS Foundation's "Female Anatomy" video and empower yourself with information about what women consistently report after hysterectomy. Call HERS at 610-667-7757 to speak with someone who can help you avoid surgery.

It's your right to know,
