Guns in Georgia Airports?

This is one of the dumbest things that I have heard in quite a while. Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue thinks it would be great for Americans to carry guns in our airports.

    Why is it that we are sufficiently willing to aborgate our constitutional rights with the exception of the 2nd. I consider myself a constitutionalist and I am amazed at the willingness of our society to give away all the other rights.
    I guess as long as they keep threatening to take gun ownership away it distracts the people from all the other rights.

    Scott -

    I bet if you asked 10 Americans to tell you generally what is in the Bill of Rights, they couldn’t do it. That’s the problem. We don’t know what rights we have. We walk around assuming that we have this right and that right. We don’t have a clue.
