Worst Persons

- Stephen Spruiell of the National Review wrote a whole column of made up stuff. Cool. I wonder if I could get a job at the National Review. I can make up stuff too, and I bet that I can be more interesting.
- Jerome Corsi stated that Presidential Candidate Barack Obama hasn’t proved that anything in his slanderous book was wrong. Interestingly, his second edition will include corrections produced by the Obama campaign.
- Sean Hannity had the nerve to utter that Fox News never suggested that Obama was Muslim. Some lies are so good, you just need to stand up and clap. Hannity’s lie belongs in a category all of its own. Hannity is today’s Worst Person In the World!!

Doc:
The issues Mr. Spruiell discusses actually happened, with Olbermann and Matthews getting the boot off of MSNBC’s coverage, and only did so after Jon Stewart made fun of them.
So, what part of that article did Mr. Spruiell make up?
HA!
Nevermind. I just watched your video.
I do have a clarification question, though. Didn’t Obama, as a boy, attend a madrassa? Did his father raise him as a Muslim, albeit briefly?
Frankly, I could care less if he *IS* Muslim. But to disassociate himself from the religion when he does in fact have ties to it seems a little disingenuous.
Chris -
Barack never attended a madrassa. Never. Check out the link.
If you want to be elected as president of the US and you have a Muslim sounding name but are not Muslim, you MUST put as much distance between yourself and the Muslim faith as possible. It is a fact that Americans will NOT elect a Muslim as president in this day and time.
Thanks for your comments.
Doc:
From your article:
So he DID attend a Muslim school, but is not a Muslim?
That’s feasible, I suppose, but why doesn’t he own his heritage? Celebrate it, even? Why should he downplay it? There is nothing wrong with being a Muslim, and he has a perfect chance to live up to Dr. King’s dream: that he should be judged by the content of his character, not the color of his skin… or genetic heritage. Granted, it’s a paraphrase, but isn’t that really what Dr. King meant?
Frankly, I did not know that a madrassa was a school of Muslim extremists, and I understand Obama’s position in pointing out the difference between the schools. I don’t know, Doc. Still seems cowardly, hiding your heritage to gain in the polls. He should own his past, the good and the bad.
To hide it suggests shame on his part, and I doubt Muslims appreciate his feelings toward his own background.
It maybe the best school to attend in the area. I agree he should say so if asked. i know we have many many mormons attend catholic schools in SL just because the schools have stricter standards.
