More dire warnings for Galveston and Houston.

    We’re ready to go in Houston. We don’t live in a flood plain and so we will stay in town. While the exact landfall of the storm is not clear, it is such a big hurricane that we will have rain and wind for many hours. Most people in Houston and anywhere the storm could hit are off work Friday and Saturday.

    My wife and I were already stocked up with hurricane supplies so we did not have to do much to be ready.

    Down in Galveston, Galveston County, and other areas on the coast, those people have fled.

    If I have power, I’ll offer a report for WTO? readers tomorrow and Saturday.
