Biden And Palin Debate
The debate went as I thought it would. Governor Sarah Palin is not a moron, just simply inexperienced with wrong ideas. She was, to her party’s credit, coached very well. She successfully brought every issue back to what she knows…Wasilla and Alaska. She had several canned phrases and buzz-words that she made sure to focus on determinedly. To be fair, Senator Joe Biden did have several canned phrases also.
My favorite thing was seeing Palin with Biden. She looked like a hockey mom from Alaska while Biden looked like a statesman.
Below is Biden explaining more thoroughly what I said a couple of days ago: Supply-side economics doesn’t work. It has never worked. With tax cuts to the middle class, to the people, we all benefit.

I just wished they had brought up earmarks. The new spending bill that was passed had 252 million in earmarks for Alaska. I wanted someone to ask her if she is going to refuse them.
the VP debate was stunning. Palin did a decent job faking about 20% of the questions and didn’t even bother answering the other 80%.
i couldn’t help thinking of the end of the movie Billy Madison, when the debate moderator says to Adam Sandler, “Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”
