Rahm Emanuel will be Chief of Staff
Barack Obama’s first choice is a good one. Rahm Emanuel has been asked and has accepted the role of Chief of Staff. This is the “point person” for the White House on policy. Emanuel knows Congress, being the fourth highest ranking member of Democratic House. Republican John Boehner was not happy. Anything that makes Rep. Boehner not happy is okay with me.

llinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel has accepted the job as President-elect Barack Obama’s chief of staff, a move ensuring that a seasoned Washington insider with deep knowledge of both Congress and the national political landscape will be at Obama’s right hand in the White House.
“Though Rahm understands how to get things done in Washington, he still looks at the world from the perspective of his neighbors and constituents on the Northwest Side of Chicago, who work long and hard, and ask only that their government stand on their side and honor their values,” Obama said in a statement announcing the move this afternoon.
Of his decision, Emanuel said: “I’m leaving a job I love to join your White House for one simple reason — like the record amount of voters who cast their ballot over the last month, I want to do everything I can to help deliver the change America needs.”
Next in the line of succession of the globalist New World Order takeover came to Americans as a so-called agent of change. Barack Obama was elected in a historic landslide victory promising change. However, like Clinton and Bush before him, he is only a puppet for the same Socialist New World Order, bought and paid for by the same international banksters that have controlled and looted America since at least the early 1900’s, and the change he will bring to America is the next stage of their globalist one-world government agenda.
NWO, you got a point there buddy. It was three days ago Obama got elected. After all this time, he hasn’t wiped out hunger, global warming or even one dread disease.
I guess NWO want Obama to achieve all of these things before he even takes office. I wish people would pay more attention to what Bush is doing before he leaves office. He is trying to undermine the federal lands and open up all kinds of national parks for drilling and reduce the restrictions on the clean air act and giving the power plants less restictions. Even the EPA is fighting Bush on this stuff. But executive orders over rule.. The BLM is ransacking the west to benefit the Oil and Gas companies. In Utah we just opened a geothermal plant and are sending the clean energy to California. Utah has passed a law stating that our main power company can only buy the cheapest energy possible. Which is coal. So we will build the geothermal and solar facilities and send the clean energy to California. While we choke because of what our state legislatures did.
The coal industry tried to build another coal plant in Sevier County. The people petitioned the county council and had to take it to court to get a vote on how their lives would be effected by the dirty air. The people won and now they are going to build a natural gas plant.
The city , county and state governments make more of impact on your everyday life. They just get help from the federal government.
I was deeply disppointed by the choice of Rahm Emanuel. He was disgustingly incompetent and reactionary as head of the DCCC. His opposition to the 50 state strategy and refusal to support anti-war candidates cost Democrats 10-20 House seats in 2006. In the latest Congress, he has been part of the most reactionary and incompetent House Democratic leadership since the 19th Century. He didn’t even support the impeachment of Bush and Cheney even though his oath of office absolutely required that he do so.
This is taking the Peter Principle to horrific extremes. If this is what Obama’s administration will be like, it’s time for people to give up on the Democrats and jump to the Greens.
