Bin Laden doesn’t matter

From TP:

After the 9/11 attacks, President Bush famously declared that he would capture Osama bin Laden “dead or alive.” However, less than a year later — in March 2002 — Bush said that he was “not that concernedabout the al Qaeda leader. Today on CNN’s Late Edition, host Wolf Blitzer asked Vice President Cheney, “How frustrating is this to you personally, knowing he’s [bin Laden] still at large?” Cheney hesitated, then simply replied that he would “obviously…like to solve that problem.” He added that it’s more “important” to “keep…this country safe,” indicating that bin Laden is inconsequential.

“Bin Laden doesn’t matter.” I love this line of Bush and Cheney’s.

When they use this line, they’re confessing Bin Laden didn’t do 9/11. Oh but of course that’s crazy. Isn’t it?

    Is it?

–Ask yourself how it was possible for Mr. Bin Laden to render both New York City and Washington, D.C., defenseless against attack by hostile aircraft.

–Ask yourself how four routine U.S. Air Force interceptions of off-course, instrument flight-planned aircraft, an operation USAF performs flawlessly about 200 times a year, somehow got botched on a single day in one hour’s time.

–Ask yourself how USAF can claim, as they still do, not to have known for nearly 90 minutes that any aircraft had been “hijacked.”

–Ask yourself how it happens that the U.S. military has been forced to change all its answers to all these questions and many others, some more than once.

And all kinds of other stuff, too.

Osama Bin Laden, who wasn’t militarily capable of accomplishing the 9/11 attacks, was never anything but a nasty-looking mug to stick on Islamic terrorism. Hoaxes work best when there’s a repulsive personification added to them. This one worked flawlessly.

They’ve gotten away with 9/11. Inside Cheney is laughing like hell about it.

Osama doesn’t matter anymore. That’s because he long ago served his purpose, and the agenda moved on from there. That’s how we got the nightmarish eight years of wars and economic collapse we’re struggling to live through.

What? You thought it was all a coincidence?
