Still Not Laid to Rest
I was sort of disturbed to hear that the king of pop, Michael Jackson has not been officially laid to rest. According to reports there are some differences among the family with where to bury him.
It has been reported that the 50 year old icon’s father, Joe Jackson and his brother Jermaine Jackson, actually want Michael to spend eternity at the infamous Neverland ranch but his mother Katherine and the other family say no.
Now my main question is, why would you want to bury a loved one in a place that caused them much turmoil in life?
As everyone probably knows, Michael was staying at the Neverland Ranch when he was accused of child molestation. He often had young children over as well as their parents at times.
Now I must admit, I still don’t know how I feel about the child molestation charges against the “King of Pop” and I never fully understood his interactions or relationships with young children but who am I to judge? ?
I find it hard to believe that the Jackson family would be bickering over something like this, especially after the tremendous display of unity during Michael’s memorial service Tuesday.
I just hope this doesn’t turn into the same situation that happened with James Brown after his death. James Brown was buried well after his death.
Michael Jackson’s body is currently being held in Barry Gordy’s mausoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery until the family comes to some type of agreement on where he will be laid to rest.
