Joshua Redman

I can’t remember when I first heard about Joshua Redman. It was at least 15 years ago. I ran out and bought a CD. I wasn’t ready. I like my jazz very rhythmic like RnB. This wasn’t. I think I have grown since then. Thank goodness.

    Same here, I had his timeless tales album, and liked the two covers of Prince and Stevie Wonder songs. I pretended to like it more than I actually did because I just felt I should. I only liked Terence Blanchard first as a composer of alot of Spike Lee’s films, then had the chance to see him at a college performance and purchased some of his other albums. I’m into melody, so I won’t say I like all of his music, but i do enjoy him alot because he has a certain melodic theme I guess you could say.
