White House Security

BTW, how did a couple of nobodies crash the White House State dinner? Did the Secret Service take the night off? Did these people know the kitchen help and sneak in that way? I don’t understand how this happens in a post-9/11 world.

    It’s very simple.

They didn’t ‘sneak’ in or ‘crash’ the dinner.

They were allowed in with the full knowledge of Obama’s people, who then act oh so surprised so that the press spends all day talking about this triviality instead of anything substantial at the event.

Americans and the American media are so easily manipulated and distracted that this would be child’s play for the White House PR team.

Really? What data do you have to support your assumption or is this a WAG (wild-assed guess).

  • Joe White

Not sure what you are referring to as an ‘assumption’. But I don’t believe that just anybody could ‘sneak’ into the White House for a state dinner. Someone with the authority to do so allowed them in.

The Obama team is very good at throwing non-stories to the media to fill up time. They know that the main stream media is tabloid oriented and will use hours talking about trivia.

    We’ve seen it before:

    Obama’s shopping for a dog
    Michelle didn’t wear sleeves
Obama and Michelle went on a date
Obama’s gonna have a beer with the cop who busted his pal
Obama loves to work out and play basketball
Obama goes to the beach and shows his abs

    Joe -

It is an assumption. You have no prove. You are assuming that no one could possibly sneak into the White House.

Now, for your other non-stories, which I agree are non-stories, how did the Obama administration push the Michelle and sleeves story or the Barack and Michelle on a date story. In order for your theory to be true someone had to give the story to the press and then bring it up again to underscore the importance of the story. Now, I’ll give you the date story since it was on the presidential calendar and Gibbs reads the calendar. I’m looking forward to your evidence.

    Thanks for your interesting comments.
