Zero. --Standardize all insurance forms and information systems to cut down on adminstrative/paperwork costs (estimated to be 20 cents of every health care dollar). Cost to government? Zero. --End 'cost-shifting'. Those with private insurance should not have to pay extra for those who refuse to pay. Cost to government? Zero. But he refuses to even help out. What do all these republicans think would have happened if McCain had been elected? You never hear what they would have done except leave everything as is and possibly bomb Iran. At least this congress is trying to do something. It can always be changed if it isn't working. But they have to start somewhere. The republicans are just going to say no and not give any other choices.... It is always easier to do nothing than have the guts to try.
