Yes, except probably no politician, Democrat or Republican, is going to vote for limiting who can donate to him.

This will probably have to be done state-by-state, using petitions to place an initiative on the ballot in each.

Hey, we agree on this sort of. You are talking about individuals and corporations. No matter how you look at this is a start.

I’m no Obama fan.

But this Supreme Court ruling is a bad one.

Unions and corporations are not citizens.

Only citizens who are qualified to vote for a candidate should be able to donate.

For example, if you live in District 3, you can vote for and donate to a District 3 candidate. But you should not be able to vote for or donate to a District 1, 2 or 4 candidate.

If a corporate exec or union boss likes a candidate, let them spend their OWN money on a candidate that they are legally qualified to vote for.

Fat cats in California and New York should not be able to buy elections in Wisconsin and Kansas.
